SK Rent-a-Car (CEOs: Shin Jeong-ho and Park Sang-wook) is expanding its Jeju Branch beyond a rental sales hub into a hands-on B2B marketing platform where companies can seamlessly combine product sampling, brand promotion and analysis of customer response. This summer, the company is partnering with Ecoland, Osulloc and Hollys to offer a variety of benefits for travelers to Jeju, strengthening its role as a strategic marketing hub that connects tourists, brands and local businesses.

For the summer holiday season, SK Rent-a-Car has prepared three partnership programs so that travelers visiting Jeju can enjoy not only convenient transportation but also richer sightseeing and dining experiences. Following the Ecoland admission discount that began on the 17th, the company will offer Osulloc tea bag giveaways and in-store benefits from the 24th, followed by a Hollys bottled coffee giveaway starting August 10.

At Ecoland, customers with an SK Rent-a-Car Jeju Branch reservation can receive a KRW 5,000 admission discount per person by presenting their rental reservation notification message on site. The discount applies to every member of the party, with no limit on the number of accompanying family members, friends or partners.

With Osulloc, SK Rent-a-Car has prepared an event to celebrate the new opening of its Tea Library and Tea House in Seogwipo. From the 24th, rental customers will receive "Moonlight Walk" tea bags made with Jeju-grown tea leaves (limited to 10,000). Customers who visit the Osulloc Tea House Tea Factory store in person will also receive a "Tea Gelato 1+1" offer, adding to the enjoyment of their Jeju trip.

This marks the second collaboration with Hollys, following the one in April. From August 10, SK Rent-a-Car Jeju Branch customers will receive one of two bottled coffees at random per vehicle, either "Vanilla Delight Low Sugar" or "Signature Americano." A total of 10,000 bottles, designed to be enjoyed easily on the go, have been prepared. A "lucky charm" capturing the mood of a Jeju trip will also be provided to add an element of fun to the product experience.

The key feature of these partnership events is that customer benefits no longer end at the time of rental but extend across the entire Jeju travel journey. While previous promotions centered on product giveaways at vehicle pickup, this program links visits to Ecoland and the Osulloc Tea House, proposing a new type of customer experience that connects rental-car travel with sightseeing and spending.

In addition, SK Rent-a-Car is running a discount promotion on travel essentials for families. From August 17 to September 16, customers can rent nine types of child car seats, from premium infant seats to junior booster seats, at up to 50% off. This is the first promotion since the company launched its car seat rental service in June 2024. SK Rent-a-Car noted that it manages all car seats directly without outsourcing, carefully maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness standards that users value most.

Through active partnership events, SK Rent-a-Car Jeju Branch is also establishing itself as an effective marketing platform for companies. Leveraging the Jeju Branch, used by more than one million people a year, companies can let travelers experience their products naturally, building brand affinity while also gauging customer response to their products. Last year, the company collaborated with Coondal, Orion and Paldo, as well as local Jeju businesses Hanul & Jeju and Licorice, and has held joint marketing events with a total of 21 partners to date. The forms of collaboration have also diversified, from product giveaways to discounted admission at tourist attractions. SK Rent-a-Car maintains standing partnerships with five of Jeju's leading cultural and exhibition venues, including Snoopy Garden, Bonte Museum, ARTE MUSEUM, Jeju Aerospace Museum and Podo Museum, offering Jeju Branch customers discounts of up to 30%.

"Our Jeju Branch is developing into a platform that offers richer travel experiences to tourists and effective hands-on marketing opportunities to companies," said an SK Rent-a-Car representative. "We will continue to expand collaborations with a wide range of brands in and outside Jeju, offering new travel experiences to the more than one million customers who visit SK Rent-a-Car Jeju Branch each year while contributing to local tourism and brand growth."
